The Detroit Tigers get set to face the New York Mets under the lights on Tuesday night, the second game of their three-game series.

The Tigers had some offensive punch in the opening game of the series on Labor Day afternoon. However, they were unable to keep up with the Mets. Detroit managed to strike first in the opening inning, but fell behind, thanks to a Juan Soto grand slam in the fourth inning. Despite the Tigers putting up a couple of runs, New York pulled away to win 10-8.
