OZARK — A federal judge has issued a temporary restraining order halting logging operations at the McCormick Project adjacent to Hunting Branch Creek, which flows directly into Bell Smith Springs in the Shawnee National Forest.

Judge Nancy Rosenstengal issued the order on Friday, just two days after attorney Tom Buchele filed an emergency motion after it was discovered active logging operations were underway.
