BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) -- A 33-year-old Georgia man is facing a sentence of 10 years to life in federal prison after he pleaded guilty on Tuesday to trafficking methamphetamine pills to Connecticut.

According to a release from the U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut, 33-year-old Tyrone Brown of Lithonia, Georgia mailed multiple parcels containing methamphetamine to several addresses in New Haven between January of 2022 to March of 2024.

One of these parcels was intercepted by police and 16 sandwich bags containing a total of more than 4 kilograms of methamphetamine pills, as well as a firearm, were found inside. Brown was arrested on April 7, 2025.

On Tuesday, Brown pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute, as well as possession with intent to distribute, 500 grams or more
