Just over a month after its members were first assigned, the Shenandoah County School Infrastructure Committee met for the first time last week, beginning what officials described as the start of a long process to modernize and maintain county schools.
The joint committee, made up of members from both the Board of Supervisors and the School Board, did not settle on specific projects at Thursday's meeting but focused instead on outlining next steps.
