HOLYOKE — A new chapter begins this week at the William R. Peck Middle School. For Assistant Principal Roberto Vicente, it’s more than a new building — it’s a full-circle moment.

Vicente, a longtime educator in Holyoke, is stepping into his first year as vice principal at the newly built school. The $85.5 million facility was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting Tuesday led by Mayor Joshua Garcia and Interim Superintendent Anthony Soto.
