Agawam scored one goal in each quarter to hand Westfield a 4-0 loss in a season opener Tuesday.

Olivia Govoni, Alyssa DaSilva, Lily Charest, and Alexander Lentes each scored for Agawam. Brownies’ Lily Charest and Olivia Govoni had assists.

Agawam’s defense did not allow Westfield to shoot all game. Bombers’ goalie Kelsey Blais finished with 15 saves.

Westfield’s Dan Romanelli shot a 39 to lead all golfers Tuesday at Tekoa Country Club. Lauren Connor, who opened the season with a 37 against South Hadley at home, and Cody Bard each had a round of 40; and Billy Oleksak finished with a 41.
