HABERSHAM COUNTY, Ga. — Three people were injured, one of them critically, in a stabbing Sunday afternoon in north Georgia, the Habersham County Sheriff's Office said.
A suspect is in custody in the incident, the sheriff's office said. He ahs not been identified at this time.
According to a post on Facebook, deputies were called to a fight on the Canterberry Trail near Clarkesville around 1 p.m. The sheriff's office said dispatchers "learned that multiple people had been stabbed" and a male suspect was barricaded inside a camper.
"A Habersham County deputy arrived, determined there were three victims with stab wounds, and provided cover so that Clarkesville police and other arriving responders could provide aid and evacuate the injured to ambulances as they got on scene," the post said
