HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Thousands of people spent their Saturday night listening to country music star Zach Bryan inside of the Joan C. Edwards stadium.

But even those who didn’t make it inside the stadium still had a great night.

“We sold out of a lot of product. We sold out of a lot of alcohol,” said Danielle Pennington, general manager at Fat Patty’s.

According to Marshall University, there were 27,000 people in attendance for the first full-size stadium concert the Joan has seen.

“Anytime Marshall does anything... football games, basketball games, concerts like this. It’s great for the full city,” said Wade Midkiff, CEO of Uptowner Inns.

The Delta Hotel in downtown Huntington completely sold out of their over 130 rooms and restaurants saw a spike in business too.
