The historic Greenleaf & Crosby Building at northwest Adams and Laura streets Downtown is preparing shell space on the first floor for three tenants that will file separate permits to build-out their businesses.

The city issued a permit Aug. 27 for Avant Construction of Jacksonville to prepare the space at 208 N. Laura St. for pre-tenant uses at a project cost of $181,114.

JWB Real Estate Capital intends to move its headquarters from South Jacksonville.

Plans show the first floor space totals 6,843 square feet at the building.

Two of the three tenants have been identified as Oak Steakhouse, which is planned in the former Jacobs Jewelers corner space, and the HiReformance Institute studio for Pilates near it.
