CLEVELAND, Ohio – Looking for one last blast of Takashi Murakami -like playfulness? Clear your calendar for when “Japanese Action Comic Punk Band” Peelander-Z comes back to town. They’re a truly wild experience.

They’ve been around for 25 years. The Japanese-American trio formed in New York City in 1998 (now based in Austin, Texas) and claim to be from the “Z area of Planet Peelander.” They incorporate elements of pro wrestling, Japanese pop culture and science fiction into their performances.
