RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Weeks after real estate developer Kane Realty met with people who live in the North Hills area about its plans to build up more of the area, the firm submitted a rezoning request for a tower up to 40 stories high, according to the Triangle Business Journal.
The outlet first reported Kane's rezoning request , Tuesday, after it pulled a rezoning request two years ago, which was reported by ABC11 Eyewitness News.
According to current zoning laws, Kane has permission for buildings of heights between five stories and 12 stories tall, respectively. If the rezoning is approved, Kane seeks to construct on four separate parcels at heights between 12 and 40 stories high.
One of those locations is said to be at the intersection of Six Forks Road and Lassiter Mill Road,
