ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Atlanta Dream forward Rhyne Howard has been named WNBA’s Eastern Conference Player of the Week.
Howard averaged 21.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists in two games last week.
The Dream split those games, losing to the Las Vegas Aces 81-75 before beating the Dallas Wings 100-78.
The former No. 1 pick has averaged 16.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.6 steals in 35.1 minutes per game in 2025. This is her first Player of the Week win since 2022.
It’s the third Player of the Week win for the Dream this season. Guard Allisha Gray has won the award twice, on June 3 and Aug. 12.
