NORMAN — Rejoice Christian standout receiver Xavier Okwufulueze announced his commitment to Oklahoma on Tuesday.

OU offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle visited Okwufulueze back in January, and Okwufulueze took an official visit to Norman in March, but it wasn’t until Monday that OU offered the three-star prospect a scholarship. He didn’t take long to accept.

Okwufulueze is ranked the No. 8 class of 2026 player in the state by the 247Sports Composite ratings. That same recruiting service tabbed him as the No. 40 “athlete” and the No. 520 overall player in the country for 2026.
