Ada County Highway District commissioners unanimously approved the district’s Fiscal Year 2026 budget last week, paving the way for a range of improvements to county road, sidewalk and traffic infrastructure.

The $257 million budget is set to allocate $125 million for over 100 projects throughout the county, including road widening changes, pedestrian improvements and bridge designs, as previously reported by the Idaho Press . Several of these projects will be bringing improvements to Linder Road and Unstick Road and will initiate after the fiscal year begins in October.
