DES MOINES, Iowa (KCAU) — Even though the 2025 Iowa State Fair wrapped just more than two weeks ago, fair officials are unveiling next year's theme.

The 2026 theme is "Fair spirit," highlighting the American heritage while honoring earlier generations and the innovations that may shape our future.

Officials say the theme is fit for a once-in-a-generation celebration of America's 250th anniversary.
