Salem High School graduate Jonathan Taylor heads up the list of former South Jersey high school players in the NFL to start this season. This group includes players who were on NFL rosters, or injured reserve or practice squads at the beginning of the week and it is a fluid list.
Taylor just completed his fifth season with the Indianapolis Colts, who selected the running back out of Wisconsin in the second round of the 2020 draft.
Last season, Taylor earned his second Pro Bowl berth after rushing for 1,431 yards (4.7 average) and 11 touchdowns in 14 games. He has rushed for 6,013 career yards (4.9 avg.) and 51 touchdowns.
