Hartford police investigating double shooting

HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - Hartford police are investigating a double shooting.

Two men were shot in Hartford in the area of 42 Battles Street at around 7:25 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found evidence of gunfire.

While they were they investigating, two gunshot victims arrived at Hartford Hospital.

The victims, a man in his fifties and a man in his seventies, were alert and conscious when they arrived at the hospital.

The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions assumed the investigation.
