WYOMING, MI — A third and final tenant has been secured for the site of a massive former General Motors stamping plant in Wyoming that sat vacant and unutilized for more than a decade .

The Wyoming City Commission on Tuesday, Sept. 2, approved site plans for a new 76,000-square-foot industrial facility on the site of the sprawling former GM property, now known as Site 36, at 3901 Buchanan Ave. SE.

The facility will be the new headquarters for Gelock Heavy Movers, Inc. and its sister company, HEL Inc. , two Grand Rapids-based companies that work in heavy equipment moving and industrial repairs.
