The 16-year-old was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being rushed to Westmead Hospital in a “critical condition”.

A teenager has been charged over the alleged stabbing of the teen boy at a Western Sydney railway station on Monday.

Emergency Services were called to Merrylands Railway Station at about 5.15pm after the boy was allegedly approached by two unknown males, who assaulted him before fleeing the scene.

An investigation was launched by Police from Cumberland Police Area Command, and on Wednesday NSW Police revealed a 17-year-old boy had attended Narellan Police Station where he was charged with more than half a dozen offences relating to the incident.
