At 6:21 p.m. on Tuesday, the National Weather Service released a heat advisory in effect until Thursday at 8 p.m. for Wallowa County.
"Hot conditions with afternoon high temperatures of 92 to 102 degrees. This will pose a moderate to major risk of heat-related illness," can be anticipated according to the weather service. "Hottest afternoon temperatures will be below roughly 3000 feet above sea level, especially in Hells Canyon."
"Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses," describes the weather service.
