Brian Smyth shot a sparkling 35, highlighted by eight pars and a birdie, to lead Cardinal O’Hara to a 228-340 victory over Little Flower at Juniata Golf Club’s par-36 course Tuesday.

Jim Smith added a 36 with five pars and two birdies. Mike O’Conner, Myles Hannigan, and Colin Donohue each carded 39, while Danny Maguire contributed a 40 for the Lions.

Girls Tennis

Strath Haven got big contributions from its singles players and top doubles team to edge Haverford 4-3.

Emily Lin and Maggie McDermott dominated at first and second singles, rolling to 6-0, 6-1 wins. Lena Anderson handled third singles with a 6-1, 6-1 victory. Minori Saito and Lexi Glass also cruised to wins at first and second singles, 6-0, 6-0 respectively.

The Fords fought back in doubles, taking the final three matches. C
