WATERLOO, Iowa (KWWL) — The city of Waterloo and ATI group are moving ahead with the redevelopment of the Crossroads Mall site.
City council approved redevelopment plans at their meeting Tuesday night. The plan is to close on six of the properties on Friday, with the final two properties closing on September 12.
This marks a huge step towards the demolition and revitalization of the area. BJ Stokesbary, the Chief Operating Officer of ATI Group, expressed gratitude for the support received so far.
“This project would not be possible without the bold, unwavering support and collaboration of Mayor Quentin Hart, the City Council, and the dedicated City staff." Stokesbary said.
Waterloo Mayor Quentin Hart highlighted the broader impact the project will have on both the city of Waterloo, as
