Banged Up Rudy Giuliani Returns to Podcast After Car Crash: ‘It Hurts’

Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani returned to his show in a harness on Tuesday after being released from the hospital following a severe car crash.

“I like this outfit. This may become permanent,” said Giuliani on America’s Mayor Live .

After Giuliani’s co-host Ted Goodman replied, “It is similar to football equipment, if you’ve played hockey or football or one of those sports,” Giuliani declared, “I was thinking more like a gladiator, you know?”

The former mayor then played a gladiator song on his iPad while pounding his chest.

Giuliani and Goodmen then recalled the series of events that led up to their accident on Saturday evening.
