DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The Dragons rallied back with a two-run 8th inning to defeat the Lansing Lugnuts 4-3, breaking the club's all-time win-streak record with a 14th straight victory at Day Air Ballpark on Tuesday night.

As the team's 25 year anniversary season draws to a close, the Dragons can hang their hat on a new franchise record following an underwhelming year that saw an early elimination from the playoffs.

The Dragons set the record of 13 wins in a row back in 2002. Their 14 straight are now the longest in team history and longest of any minor league team since 2023.

Dayton's 14 game win streak is the longest in the Midwest League since the MLB took over record-keeping in the Minor Leagues in 2005.
