LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) -- Rescuers in Leola had to remove a vehicle's roof to extract a driver after a crash Tuesday afternoon.
The Upper Leacock Fire Company and Bareville Fire Company were dispatched to a vehicle entrapment at about 3:15 p.m. in Quarry Road. When they arrived, they found the vehicle on two wheels against the guard rail.

An initial attempt to free the driver through the back of the car failed.
"We train for many scenarios, but when you hit the street, you never know the challenge you will face," the Upper Leacock Fire Company said in a social media post.
With the driver still entrapped, rescuers had to remove the roof to get them to safety.
