BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - A fatal collision is under investigation in Warren County.

At just before 5:00 p.m., the Kentucky State Police Post 03 received a call about a fatal collision. Troopers arrived on the scene near the 15-mile marker northbound on Interstate-65.

A preliminary investigation indicates that a 1998 Cadillac el Dorado operated by 80-year-old Garland Johnson, of McDonough, Georgia, was traveling south in the northbound lane of Interstate-65.

He collided with a 2017 Jaguar SUV operated by 36-year-old Mesa Reinier of Hialeah, Florida. Johnson was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Warren County Coroner. Reinier was air-lifted to TriStar Skyline Medical Center, where he was treated for his inj
