Three people were injured in a shooting on Martin Luther King Drive in Central City Tuesday night.

The New Orleans Police Department said officers were called to the shooting in the 2400 block at about 8:26 p.m. and that initial reports indicate two men were taken by paramedics to the hospital and one another person was taken in a private vehicle.

The two men's injuries are believed to be non life threatening, while the third person's injuries are unknown at this time, police said.

No other information was immediately available.
