Footage that appears to show objects being thrown from a White House window has been rejected by US President Trump as an artificial intelligence (AI) fake, despite the White House confirming it's real. ‌

The clip, which has been circulating on social media, shows a dark object being hurled from an open window on the second floor of the White House, where Trump's Presidential quarters are located. ‌

A White House spokesman told Time Magazine yesterday: "It was a contractor who was doing regular maintenance while the President was gone." ‌

But when quizzed about it during an Oval Office Q&A, Trump instantly dismissed it as fabricated.
