JOHNSON COUNTY, Texas — Dozens of Johnson County residents packed the Cleburne Conference Center Tuesday evening to show support for Sheriff Adam King, who is now on paid administrative leave after being indicted on multiple charges .

King is facing two felony counts of retaliation against a witness and a misdemeanor charge of abuse of official capacity tied to sexual harassment. The affidavit details repeated unwelcome sexual advances and verbal harassment toward female employees, including comments about their weight, clothing and makeup.

The indictment followed a Texas Rangers investigation. King has denied the allegations and maintained his innocence.
