BALD KNOB, Ark.- Police are investigating after a man was killed in Bald Knob on Labor Day.

It came as a shock to many, especially for those who work near the scene where it happened, like Shelly Leonard, who owns Fast Eddies.

"Well, my husband was here, and he witnessed the whole thing," Leonard said.

Leonard says it all happened in her store's parking lot, her husband watched it all unfold, and she describes the scene as bloody and brutal.

"The guys were outside fighting, and he went over there to see what was going on and seen the guy stabbing him and the one that was being stabbed turned around and asked for help," Leonard said.

Bald Knob police are near Leonard's business. They arrived by 9:20 p.m. and took the victim to a nearby hospital and arrested the suspect.
