The Golden State Warriors stand as the only team yet to make a signing this offseason. Stephen Curry has already begun pushing the front office to bring in another backcourt piece. However, much of the situation hinges on Jonathan Kuminga’s contract status.
Talks between the Warriors and Kuminga are still far from reaching common ground. The team reportedly offered him a two-year, $45 million contract, which Kuminga turned down. He is seeking a deal worth closer to $30 million annually and would also like a player option included.
