BOISE, Idaho — A Caldwell woman has been charged with aggravated battery after police allege she intentionally ran over a man she knew with her vehicle, leaving him with life-threatening injuries.
Miranda Fay Reese, 40, was arrested without incident on Friday, Aug. 29, near the intersection of 11th Avenue North and Stampede Drive, according to the Nampa Police Department.
Police received a 911 call at 7:30 p.m. reporting a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle. Nampa Police stated that the caller told dispatchers the injured person was known to the driver and that the act was intentional.
When officers arrived, they found an injured man who was transported by paramedics to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Reese was still at the scene when police arrived.
