Takeover talks at Bray Wanderers understood to be at ‘advanced stage’

The Wicklow People and The Bray People understands that a takeover of Bray Wanderers Football Club may be imminent. Reliable sources have stated that talks with an investor are at an advanced stage and could even conclude within the coming 48 hours. The investors are understood to be either UK or US-based.

In 2021, Cabinteely FC acquired a 51-per-cent stake of the Carlisle Grounds-based club, after which Tony Richardson was installed as chairperson. The club’s on-field performances have clearly improved in recent times.
