A woman has been fined after household waste was dumped next to a litter bin – on her own street.
Jolene Bamber, of Nook Lane, was taken to court by Tameside council after a street cleaner discovered the rubbish on February 15, 2025.
The council said that after Ms Bamber failed to respond to fixed penalty notice letters, the 38-year-old was hit with a £495 fine for dumping her household waste next to the bin on Nook Lane.
The case was dealt with atTameside Magistrates’ Court heard.
