Supermarket giant Woolworths’ plans for a shopping centre development in Perth’s northern suburbs have been approved.

The Metro Outer Development Assessment Panel approved the Woolworths Group’s plan to replace the 50-year-old Glengarry Shopping Centre in Duncraig with a supermarket, restaurant, shops and upper-floor offices.

The DAP approval — won four votes to one — came after the City of Joondalup recommended against it because delivery trucks would be entering the Woolworths loading dock from Culloden Road.
