Bloc-ed, again.
Mayor Lisa Borowsky spent much of the first half of 2025 butting heads with the bloc of four that dominated votes: Adam Kwasman, Kathy Littlefield, Jan Dubauskas and Barry Graham.
They foiled her ideas to study an alternative downtown parking garage site and create a volunteer fire department, then flexed on her by taking staff members from the mayor’s office.
While some Republican voters wonder why Borowsky and her fellow conservatives can’t get along, Borowsky did little to reach a compromise – instead of fueling the minor war by blasting Dubauskas, Graham and Kwasman during the summer break.
As reported in the Aug. 24 Progress, Borowsky and Kwasman traded barbs on social media.
