A buttery fate — and a new beginning

LINWOOD — As it has been for a decade, the New York State Fair butter sculpture’s job was not done just because the fair ended.

The butter from the sculpture was at Noblehurst Farms Inc. by Tuesday morning and Noblehurst co-owner Jack Klapper was ready to start recycling it into renewable energy that afternoon.
