FISHERS — As Sloane May talks about the importance of friendship, she pauses to grab her right ear. Hamilton Southeastern’s star forward is sitting next to teammates Blair Satterfield, Riley Boyd and Sydney Cook inside a classroom at HSE when she realizes she’s wearing two different earrings on one ear.

Satterfield, Boyd, and Cook burst into laughter as they notice May’s dilemma. Just eight minutes earlier, when discussing who’s the funniest among the group, May received a unanimous vote.
