Selyne Peters scored a goal and had two assists as Brick Township shutout Manchester Township 4-0 in its season opener in Brick.

Addison Gerhard and Casey Salvatore combined to make five saves for Brick Township (1-0) in its first shutout of the season.

Lindsay Giovine got Brick Township on the board in the first quarter after scoring off a pass from Peters for her first assist of the game.

In the second quarter, Isabella Finamore found Claire Silvestri, who drove the ball into the net to give Brick Township a 2-0 lead. Giovine later moved the ball to Peters who walked the ball into the back of the net to take a 3-0 advantage. Finamore made it a 4-0 lead for Brick Township with a goal off a pass from Peters.

Brick Township won its first season opener since the 2022 season.
