Shred event

Kitsap Bank is partnering with the Sequim Food Bank to host a shred event on Saturday, Sept. 6, from 9 a.m. to noon at Kitsap Bank’s Sequim branch, 1320 W. Washington St.

Participants must make a monetary donation to have their documents shredded. There will be a maximum of 75 pounds per shred per vehicle. All funds raised will support the Sequim Food Bank.

Tea to Die For

Death Cafes “Tea to Die For,” sponsored by Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County, is set for 4-5:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 8, in the Community Room at KSQM 91.5 FM, 609 W. Washington St., No. 17.

The free and informal gatherings to discuss death are held every second Monday in Sequim. For more information, call 360-452-1511.
