(WJW) -- A beautiful, summer day, Wednesday, with temperatures in the 80s and low humidity. A few more clouds compared to the past few days, but still nice.

Rain develops tonight and continues into Thursday morning. Coverage will be high and last between 6-8 hours. Rain moves east by midday on Thursday. Sun to the west in the afternoon with a few lingering showers south and east later in the day.

Thursday afternoon the temps drop into the 60s with late day sunshine.

Friday starts off sunny and cooler. A weak front is expected early Saturday morning to bring a few rain sprinkles with minimal coverage.

The “cooler” pattern will stay in place through the first 10-15 days of September.
