Fire crews worked overnight in Reading, early Wednesday, after a fire tore through the rooftop of a property along 5th Street.

As could be seen in footage shared to social media, a fire crews worked to extinguish the flames as they grew along the rooftop of residential property in Reading.

Crews were initially called to the 100 block of North 5th Street in Reading at about 1:56 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

However, as of about 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, officials said that crews were still working at the scene of this incident and did not say if anyone was injured in the fire.
