Tesco's website went down Tuesday morning with shoppers complaining that they were unable to complete their online shopping orders.

Writing on X - formerly known as Twitter - one shopper, @kaylouspa, queried: "@ Tesco is there a problem with your app this morning? It is full of errors and I can't order shopping."

Another, @CraiginKent, asked: "@Tesco @tesconews hi is there an issue with your app? It's not working and seems to be a fairly big problem."

A third, @MandaLobby, also wrote: "@Tesco desperately need to add shopping to my nan's order and the app and web is down. She'll blame me if it's not added. Help!"
