Indiana Gov. Mike Braun appointed the first five Hoosiers to serve on the new commission tasked with exploring how Indiana could adjust its state lines to welcome Illinois counties that previously voted to secede from their state.
Braun directed the commission to hold its first meeting by Dec. 1.
