COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - After a below average stretch, temperatures are starting to return to near, and even above aver average levels, late in the week. It will be noticeably more humid but rain chances look limited.

Mostly sunny to partly cloudy on this Wednesday. There could be a stray shower or two mainly to the northwest of Columbus and Phenix City. Highs between 86 and 89 degrees.

Partly cloudy. It starts to get a little more humid. Lows early Thursday will be in the mid to upper 60s, even near 70 degrees in spots.

Highs are back to near or just above 90 degrees Thursday.

We’re expecting low to even mid 90s Friday and Saturday. Rain coverage will be around 10 to 20% through Sunday.

A front moves through Sunday. It brings down the temperatures and humidity a touch early next week.
