RAPID CITY, S.D. (KELO) -- Two major projects were up for a vote in Rapid City by the City Council Tuesday evening.
The new Sports Complex and Libertyland Amusement Park were back in front of the city council following a publishing error.
"We put in an enormous amount of effort into making sure that we followed the rules and regulations to the best of our ability. Because of a staff error, it was published incorrectly on the paper, and therefore, we're back before the city council tonight." Libertyland Project Manager Joel Brannan said.
Because of the error, the council needs to re-vote.
It provided an opportunity for both groups to present their cases again and educate people who have questions about each project, including costs.
