FRESNO, California — Roman Rodriguez, a 26-year-old from Bakersfield, was sentenced to 15.5 years in prison for receipt and distribution of child sexual abuse material, U.S. Attorney Eric Grant announced. The sentencing was handed down by U.S. District Judge Jennifer L. Thurston.
According to court documents, between February 18 and February 22, 2024, Rodriguez used an iPhone and the internet to receive and distribute images depicting children engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Rodriguez received more than 600 images, which in
