Following a Tuesday press conference held in the Oval Office, Alabama lawmakers offered reactions to President Donald Trump's announcement that U.S. Space Command is officially relocating to Huntsville's Redstone Arsenal.

The move from Trump reverses a previous decision made by the Biden Administration in 2023 that kept Space Command in Colorado Springs, Colorado, despite reports showing Huntsville as the best choice for the long-term site of the command.

Alabama's federal and state-level elected officials, many of whom were present for the announcement, praised the President's decision.
