Emily Ehrlich’s professional biking career has taken the Detroit native around the world to destinations such as Gatineau, Canada, Punte del Este, Uruguay, and Zurich, Switzerland.
The reigning U.S. individual time trial champion will add Baltimore to her list when she takes part in the Maryland Cycling Classic on Saturday.
“I’ve never been to Baltimore before, so I’m excited to explore a new city,” she wrote via email. “My expectations of Baltimore and the MCC is to be a part of an event that means much for the growth of cycling in the US. I want to feel immersed in the local community and feel a sense of pride for the future.”
