WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - KSN News has reached out to Kansas Gas Service after numerous smells of natural gas have been reported in northeast Wichita.
Reports of the odor were reported in northeast Wichita around 37th Street North and Webb and 13th and 21st Streets near K-96.
To make gas leaks easier to detect, gas companies add chemicals called odorants to create a natural gas smell similar to sulphur or rotting eggs.
Several calls have been reported to 911 about the odor.
